The 2nd Annual IMT ICS Academy was created to address a glaring gap in the education and capability of today's ICS and IMT training.
'I' level courses, while valuable, don't get individuals or teams ready for the challenges of the incident management environment.
Seeing the issue on the response landscape we decided to do something about it.
In addition we wanted to be different. We wanted to provide the best learning experience possible with both delivery and the experience of each and every cadre member at the Academy.
These are real-world practitioners with extensive large-scale emergency experience in multiple fields. But that's not all. Each has been hand-picked because of how they approach teaching and facilitation.
This Academy is unique in the country.
Note that all programs offered are compliant with & taught in accordance with ICS Canada & Authority Having Jurisdiction (Government of Alberta) standards & all successful participants will receive a recognized ICS Canada certificate.
